Bringing back my Eddy Merckx
It is taking a long time to wash the cheap courier out of me. For 10 years it was about cheap, dirty, quick fixes, and ride it till it was dead. Not saying all couriers are like this. This was just my way. 10+ patches on tubes and, even then, reluctant to throw it away - hung it up like a wreath. Suspicious that it still had some life left to give or proud I couldn't get any more rotations out of it.
Knowing slightly better these days and no longer the worst customer in a bike shop
Bring back this bike from the courier days will be a real joy.
